Kyle Stamper, Chief Data Scientist at Greater Divide, is an experienced technologist with nearly 20 years in the big data trenches leading projects in data science, machine learning, artificial intelligence (AI), simulation modeling, and software engineering. As Greater Divide’s Chief Data Scientist, Kyle develops and champions corporate initiatives in machine learning and AI applied to marketing research.

Kyle’s interest is the application of cutting-edge AI and machine-learning technologies to marketing research and extracting insights from large-scale data. He is most at home at the intersection of research and applied technology, translating innovative concepts into real-world solutions.

Prior to Greater Divide, Kyle spent 11 years with Commonwealth Computer Research (CCRi), spearheading the company’s business development, analytics, and engineering efforts in marketing research and location intelligence. Kyle served in a variety of technical and leadership roles while helping to grow the company from 6 employees to over 130 during his tenure with the company.

Kyle earned his master’s and bachelor’s degrees in Systems and Information Engineering from the University of Virginia. His research in the university’s Predictive Technology Lab focused on forecasting human behavior through passive observation.
